Germaine’s Gyration Japanese Maple

‘Germaine’s Gyration’ is outstanding dissectum variety does well in the south, tolerating even full sun. This is a unique tree with the inner branches swirling around the main trunk in different directions especially toward the top of the tree. This is where the gyration part of the name came from. These are high graft maples.

The leaves have long narrow lobes that are not as dissected as most cultivars. The leaves can have a peach tint when they first appear in spring. Fall color begins in October as a golden yellow, then turning orange and almost red as the temperatures cool.
